Do you want to help tell the story of your city through video? On April 26th, the Twin Cities will participate in a local event that is part of a global video project called One Day On Earth. Residents in the Twin Cities will be able to document what life is like in their community on Saturday, April 26th, and share their video, which will be displayed on a virtual map of the Twin Cities and could be used in the global documentary.
Youth interested in participating can earn a $50 stipend by attending a Film Workshop on April 24th, 6pm at 2205 Lowry Ave N and then filming on Saturday April 26th as part of the project. To qualify for the stipend you must contact the Cleveland Neighborhood Association ahead of time, 612-588-1155 or email cna@clevelandneighborhood.org. You will be able to borrow a Flip Video Camera for filming on Saturday April 26th which you will return at the end of the day for us to upload the video and for you to receive your stipend.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend our Film Workshop with local videographer and Cleveland resident, DA Bullock, who will lead the workshop on April 24th and is one of the lead filmmakers for the Twin Cities One Day event.
