In 2017, Penn Avenue will likely see the opening of the new C-Line, a Rapid Transit bus that runs along the route of the current 19, down Penn and east on Olson Highway to downtown. Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) blends the benefits of Light Rail with the low impact of a bus route for a combination that should result in easier and faster commutes for the thousands of riders that take the 19 every day. You can learn lot’s more about the C-Line on the Metro Transit website. Right now Metro Transit is gathering feedback from transit riders and residents on the Station Locations along the route. You are welcome to contact Metro Transit with your comments directly about any and all of the station locations and plans. Today, CNA is asking for your input on one specific location, whether a station should exist at 35th Avenue North or 36th Avenue North and Penn Avenue. There will most likely be a station at Lowry and Dowling, but also one in between at either of those two intersections. We’d like your feedback on which one you’d prefer and why.
