You know the saying: “The Community that reads together stays together, is safer, more connected, more caring, and just a better place to live.” (Really? You haven’t heard that one before?). This summer we’ll kick-off a project to promote literacy in the Cleveland community as a tool to connect neighbors with one another.

The Book Fiesta is a great community event for the whole family. We’ll have music, food, games and prizes all in a concentrated effort to promote reading, writing and building community. The event will take place at Lucy Laney school from 10-2pm the Saturday after school let’s out. Be sure to stop on through or if you’re interested, we’d love to have you volunteer!
